Environments Control Room AV Solutions
Remote, centralised control - enterprise wide
Remote and centralised control of standards-based AV all adds up to a better experience, delivered more effectively and economically.
Where once AV was an island of proprietary technology and hardware boxes, confined to special rooms, it is now mainstream and strategic technology empowering people to communicate and collaborate more effectively, and that demands a new approach.
AV is now adopting IT standards and protocols to join IT on the network, benefiting users, technology managers and the organisation a as a whole.
Having IT and AV on a single platform revolutionises how technology managers support it: remote, centralised enterprise-wide monitoring and management; a proactive NOC-style approach replacing old-style break-fix and the ability to keep AV and UC technology across your estate running optimally and securely, with maximised uptime.
Of course, this doesn’t spell the end for local in-person control and support for prestige events, or more complex AV spaces like large auditoria, but it does allow this to be operated as a premium white-glove service.
But it does bring IT's proven and effective style of technology management to the world of AV.
Our professional control rooms manage building-wide AV systems architecture
The AV control room (AVCR) is the hub of an organisation’s AV facilities, designed to manage building-wide AV and IT systems architecture and technologies.
Usually manned by full-time, often 24-hour, technical teams, the control room manages remote room monitoring, systems control, video recording and asset management, control and distribution of digital signage, projection and multimedia presentations, delegate voting systems as well as speaker, voice reinforcement, microphone and other presentation audio arrangements. The technical team may also conduct post-production work if video production and editing facilities have been included and work alongside IPTV distribution and live or on demand broadcasting via the clients’ network.
