Centenary Building Redevelopment
The University of Southampton, on the south coast of England, has an enrolment of up to 25,000 students and is ranked in the top 20 of UK universities. The university received planning permission to develop a new teaching and learning centre on its Highfield Campus. This project was tendered by the main contractor BAM construction. The consultant specified the project required the latest audio and visual solutions for a number of specific AV spaces including two lecture theatres, a 250 seat main lecture theatre and 100 seat Harvard lecture theatre, nine seminar rooms, two flat floor spaces, a computer based training room, MBA learning and common spaces with five additional meeting spaces and 9 group study pods all providing a variety of options for teaching, learning and study away from the main campus library.
