proAV installed NEC displays across all the key collaborative areas of the offices with Media star IPTV and media players. Larger meeting / conference rooms also include room booking panels, ClearOne PTZ cameras, Shure Linear array microphones, JBL Ceiling speakers; smaller meeting rooms were equipped with Room Booking panels, Poly Studio USB video bars and Crestron media presentation controllers. Semi-enclosed collaboration spaces and Huddle Booths feature smaller 32” NEC displays supported by Crestron tabletop AV media controllers. 

HMRC’s Dual and Quad Divisible Flexible Meeting Rooms feature enhanced audio solutions for its collaboration spaces. Each divisible space was equipped with QSC DSP’s audio processors and PTZ cameras, Shure MX910 ceiling and handheld microphones. The overall AV of the room, featuring NEC displays was controlled by Crestron DigitalMedia distribution utilising a DMPS presentation system and touch panel control.

Further spaces include the Town Hall, fitted with a Panasonic projector and Draper projection screen supported by Crestron switching control, Yamaha processors and Shure wireless mics and the UX & Customer Lab which has an Avocor smart display for collaboration.

Throughout the offices, proAV installed digital signage displays to implement Mediastar digital signage solutions and offer effective waypoint communication to staff and visitors. A building-wide room booking system was installed featuring ProDVX tablets.

To make the facilities accessible, especially for those who are hard of hearing, Ampetronic audio induction loops were installed across the building.

The state-of-the-art building, home to around 5,400 HMRC employees, allows HMRC to work in more collaborative ways and provides a modern and inclusive working environment which supports smarter working. Like all its regional centres, HMRC’s Stratford hub incorporates flexible layouts that will help it to meet future changing demands and priorities.
