Technology is transforming how we meet, collaborate, and connect. From AI-powered meeting solutions to high-resolution displays, the industry is evolving fast. Which innovations will make the biggest impact?

ISE 2025 has kicked off, bringing major innovations in AV and collaboration technology. The latest advancements in meeting room solutions, display technology, and hybrid work tools are setting new industry standards. Here’s what stood out on Day 1.

Crestron’s Latest in AV Distribution

Crestron DM NVX AV-Over-IP Product at ISE 2025

At ISE 2025, we saw Crestron’s DM-NVX-384, a high-performance AV-over-IP solution for enterprise and large-scale content distribution. Crestron’s approach to 5K video transmission over standard Ethernet stood out, delivering ultra-high-resolution video with no loss of quality. This has clear potential for meeting rooms, control centres, and digital signage applications.

Its native USB-C connectivity and multi-input switching make it adaptable for modern hybrid spaces. Low latency and audio-visual sync ensure seamless real-time collaboration, while HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Pixel Perfect Processing enhance visual quality without compromising speed or efficiency.

As AV distribution evolves, solutions like this could redefine how organisations integrate and scale their networks. It will be interesting to see how businesses adopt these capabilities as demand for flexible, high-performance AV systems grows.

Jabra’s Latest Innovation for Meeting Spaces

Jabra PanaCast 40 VBS 4K AI-powered video bar for hybrid meetings and seamless collaboration, showcased at ISE.

Jabra had unveiled the Panacast 40 VBS, set to launch in June. With 5 billion meetings happening globally every week and only 3% of small meeting rooms properly equipped for modern AV collaboration, there’s a clear gap in the market.

Designed for booths, huddle rooms, and compact meeting spaces, the 180-degree field of view ensures everyone in frame, even when sitting just 40 centimetres from the camera. The six-microphone array picks up voices clearly, while the dual-lens system delivers a sharp, natural image. With built-in Microsoft Teams and Zoom compatibility, it’s a setup built for hybrid work.

A key focus of the Panacast 40 VBS is improving the experience for remote participants, ensuring they feel more involved in meetings. The wide field of view and enhanced audio clarity help create a more natural and inclusive virtual meeting environment, reducing the feeling of disconnect often experienced in hybrid setups.

With small meeting spaces being a challenge for effective collaboration, it will be exciting to see how innovations like this get adopted in real-world meeting rooms.

GoBright’s Take on Smart Meeting Spaces

We saw GoBright’s room booking and management system, designed to improve how meeting spaces are used. The colour-coded panels clearly indicate availability, reducing confusion and double bookings. Rooms can be booked through a mobile app, online portal, or directly at the room.

What stood out was how analytics provide insight into room usage, helping organisations identify trends and optimise space. Employees can extend or reschedule meetings, while wayfinding integration makes navigation easier. The system also allows control of AV and lighting, adding more functionality to meeting spaces.

With flexible working on the rise, it will be interesting to see how businesses integrate solutions like this to improve efficiency.

Planar CLI Flex Series flexible LED video wall showcasing cutting-edge display innovation for dynamic, high-impact visuals

Planar’s Latest in Display Innovation

We also explored Planar’s CarbonLight CLI Flex Series, a flexible LED video wall designed for interactive and high-impact visual displays. Recognised as ‘Best of InfoComm’ by rAVe, it caught our attention for its unique design and interactive capabilities.

With a 0.9mm pixel pitch, it delivers high-resolution visuals while remaining flexible, making it ideal for curved installations. The screen supports touch interaction and is built to handle high-traffic environments. Using infrared technology, with sensors positioned at the top and bottom, it detects touch input with precision, without requiring direct pressure on the surface.

This type of technology could be well-suited for control rooms visualising real-time data, museums, or even retail spaces. With interactive displays continuing to evolve, it will be interesting to see how solutions like this are applied in real-world environments.

Conclusion

Day 1 at ISE 2025 showcased how brands like Crestron, Jabra, GoBright, and Planar are driving innovation in AV. From smarter meeting room solutions to next-generation interactive displays, the industry is moving fast. As technology continues to shape collaboration and communication, we’re looking forward to what’s next.

We’ll be back with more insights in our Day 2 update at ISE 2025. The future is exciting, with next-generation technology creating new possibilities for businesses looking to enhance their AV.
