The OWO
Luxury residences
This Grade II*-listed Old War Office, with its 1100 rooms across seven floors, and two and a half miles of corridors, was completed in 1906. It served as the British Army’s administrative offices, as a wartime HQ for Winston Churchill and inspired James Bond writer Ian Fleming.
In 2014 the Old War Office
was bought by the Hinduja Group and OHLD to be transformed into a world class Raffles
hotel and Raffles-branded residences, the latter brought to life by 1508 London,
to be known as The OWO.
The
re-development followed strict heritage guidelines and incorporated 85
residential apartments with a further two basement levels providing the
ultimate in lifestyle amenities including a spa, gym, cinema, games room and
lounge areas.
